Our on-site, modern X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the diagnosis of many disorders. We are often able to take and develop radiographs while you wait. The majority of our laboratory testing is performed by a commercial veterinary laboratory with twice-a-day specimen pickup, and most results are available within 24 hours. Our in-house laboratory equipment allows us to do a complete biochemistry profile when results are needed right away. Additionally, we perform pre-operative screenings, heartworm testing, FELV/FIV testing, pancreatitis screens, Giardia antibody testing, Parvovirus testing, and urinalyses in-house. We also perform fecal centrifugations in the hospital on patients with vomiting or diarrhea; otherwise all routine fecal samples are sent to our outside lab.
Endoscopy is a minimally invasive technique that allows a visual examination of internal organs and body parts without surgery. In many cases performing a procedure endoscopically allows for it to be done as an outpatient procedure, a less painful and traumatic alternative for both patient and owner.

Did you know 85% of adult pets have periodontal disease? If left untreated the bacteria that cause periodontal disease will travel from the mouth into the blood stream and begin to affect the heart, kidneys and liver and unfortunately, has even been linked to early death. The good news is, periodontal disease is preventable. Even if you miss the prevention window and the disease process has begun, there are steps you can take to control the disease even though it cannot be cured. Whatever the grade of periodontal disease your pet is experiencing we can treat it. We begin with a dog or cat dental cleaning with your pet comfortably under anesthesia.
We understand that surgery is a stressful time for pets as well as their owners. We attempt to do everything possible to make the event as comfortable, safe and convenient for everyone involved. We perform scheduled surgeries Monday through Thursday and when emergencies arise, we fit them into our schedule whenever necessary. We have learned that our clients prefer the comfort of a private veterinary practice versus a large specialty hospital or intimidating veterinary teaching hospital, so we try to do as much on site as possible. Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures.
