Dr. Ann Baltzell grew up in the small town of Celina, Ohio, near Grand Lake St. Marys. She moved to Columbus to attend college and veterinary school at The Ohio State University. She has practiced in Central Ohio since graduation in 2007.

You may recognize Dr. Baltzell, she worked for us as a veterinary assistant during 2002-2004, when she left to pursue veterinary school. Dr Baltzell is so excited to be back as a member of the Best Friends Team. Dr Baltzell has a passion for preventive care and enjoys working with clients to improve the wellbeing of their pets.

She lives in Columbus with her husband, also a veterinarian, and their 4 young children. The Baltzells

share their home with a wild and crazy boxer, Vinny (aka “Sweet Venito”). In her spare time, Dr. Baltzell enjoys walking and spending time with her family.
